Another fantastic day in the Cotswolds, blessed with glorious sunshine and the company of 640 runners.

2008 Overall Team Results

Generally times were faster than last year over a firm, dry course on a beautiful day. Stage 6 saw a welcome improvement to the starting climb up Selsley Common, but is still limited by the uncorrected subsidence at its end.

Bath hold onto the title in the Ladies, but improved their time by 38 minutes. Chippenham remain in second but also saw an improvement, theirs by 33 minutes.

Chippenham, keen to make up for losing by 8 seconds in 2007, improved by 11 minutes. However, Halesowen held their own to retain the title with a faster run by 17 minutes.
